  • Lawsuit awards after Mother's death California

My mother died 7/22/09. Her boyfriend recently found paperwork for her to sign a settlement with a company dated three days before her death. She never signed and mailed it. She had three other lawsuits pending, but because she lived in a residential hotel in Los Angeles, I could not get her mail forwarded and the manager of the hotel refused to help me. I now have the documents regarding the lawsuits. Is it too late? What can I do?

    Contact an attorney.
Not everything in America is actionable in a court of law. Please remember that attorneys are in business for profit, and they get paid regardless of whether or not you win or lose.

I offer my knowledge and experience at no charge, I admit that I am NOT infallible, I am wrong sometimes, hopefully another responder will correct me if that is the case with the answer above, regardless, it is your responsibility to verify any and all information provided.
