How was the money left in the will? To your ex-husband by name? To you and your ex-husband by both names? Some other way?

If it was left to your husband, this may not be an issue of estate law. It may be a matter of what your divorce property agreement said.

    Inheritance/ NJ and Pennsylvania

My ex-husband's aunt passed away in NJ 4 years before I filed for divorce here in PA. We split the first part of the settlement as a married couple. The estate has finally been settled, two years after our divorce.

Am I entitled to half of his part of the settlement? At first he was willing to split it, now he is not.

    Thank you!
