Congrats Bhanu. Glad it's worked out for you.

If you are entering Australia for a validation trip (i.e. as a tourist
and not to migrate), you need not do anything other than to get your
passport endorsed just like any visitor would upon arrival.

          All the best.

          Peter

            Dear peter

Thanks a lot for it. Actually we were waiting for our PR visas sometime
ago and as you and others in this forum aware that it got delayed due to
form 80 sri lankan pcc. So my husband has signed the contarct for a new
job from nov 2003. It finishes in Nov 2004. So we cant parctically leave
japan for good to OZ until nov 2004. That is why we plan to make a
validation trip in Jan 2004 as our first entry condition is 14th march
2004 which in non negotiable. So can we do all those things like TFN,
Medicare registration, Application for FTB, Centrelink Jobsearch number,
child care etc after we go to OZ for good in Dec 2004? Will those
authorities say anything about availing these services? How does it
work? Peter, George, Alan, Jeremmy, Steven your expert advice is
onceagain needed in this regard please?

looking forward to hearing from you.

            with love

            bhanu
