  • George/Peter/Any one please advice ASAP

    Hi Bruno,

If you have received any indication that your visa has been cancelled,
I would suggest you contact Peter Bollard. Peter is a senior member of the
migration profession and a solicitor in practice in Sydney, and I would
expect him to be able to help you as he currently offers medical CPD
seminars for migration agents. Peter is also an expert on de-registration
proceedings for migration agents, strangely enough. You can find him at
    [email protected] .

    Cheers

    news:[email protected]
I stayed in Austrlalia for an year. Before going there, i signed health undertaking forms.Later in Australia i was told that they found some fault with my x-ray,a dot or something and i need to undergo treatment for 9 months for latent tuberculosis as a precautionary measure. I took the treatment for 8months,nothing but a couple of pills a day.I had to come back to my home country after 8th month. The doctor said she cant give medical certificate as an evidence for the treatment since i haven't finished 9th month, but gave me a written letter on the hospital lettered that i took treatment for 8 th months and i'm due to have 1 more month treatment. I took the last 1 month's prescription back with me. My question is, along with my medicals shall i submit the original letter i have got and also the appointment schedule passbook of the hospital, which are the only proofs i have for the treatment i have undergone or shall i send certified copies of the same. Will this be enough proof? Is it possible for me to apply for medical certificate now with what i have? Please advice ASAP Thanks -- Posted via http://britishexpats.com

      Hi Peter,
Peter is also an expert on de-registration proceedings for migration agents, strangely enough.Remind me to stay away from my namesake :-)
Actually, Peter works for agents facing de-registration, as MARA has
its own legal budget. Have a look at
      http://www.austlii.edu.au/cgi-bin/di.../2000/567.html
      as an example.

So if you ever do end up working in Australia as a migration agent you
just might need to know his number :-)

      Cheers
