  • Nurse registration information!!!

    Hi

I am in the process of completing my skills assessment for ANC. I
contacted my old school of nursing and they currently no longer train
nurses...PANIC set in. However, after several more phonecalls etc etc I
have since discovered that I can access transcripts etc as they are
    archived...what a relief.

Now to my questions and I would appreciate advice from anyone having
already gone through this or is aware of process.

The administrator stated that if I requested a transcript of training it
would cost £25, but if it was requested via an institutuion eg ANC then
it would be free and they would email it direct to them. So I need to
request her to send it to Australia and then it will help with initial
    skills assessment application.

However, I then asked about DIMIA application as I have been aware that
advice on this site has said get copies of transcripts etc. She said
that she normally will only send one copy to anc and thats it.

Will they advise dimia of that registration or should i get a transcript
    sent to me?

or should I get one sent direct to institution and then see how it goes?

Any advice would be gratefully received.

    Irene

having gone through this process, I wold advise that you pay your 25
pounds and get your transcripts sent direct to you, I photcopied mine
and sent one to anci one for myself and one with my visa application
form, lots less hassle if you do it yourself and you know that the forms
are actually being sent, only problem we had was that rcn forgot to send
confirmation of registration to anci so had to chase them up, but whole
    process took about 3 weeks

    hope that helps

      Hi
I've just gone through the same process!

First your trainscripts must be sent by you so you are best paying the
      £25!

When you receve them they will be in a seald envelope so don't open
      them!

Next make sure you get two copies because you will need a copy for
      your application!

      Hope this helps!

      regards Denise

Hi IreneI seem to have been quite lucky with my transcripts, automatically got 2copies for £25 with no hassle about sending them straight to me. I thinkit just depends on the mood some of these people are in as to what theydo with the transcripts. Mine weren't in sealed envelopes either.

          Hi all

many thanks for your replies. I also had feedback via pm and many
advised to get them to send to australia direct. So I have done. The
administrator appeared to be happier to send it to an institution than
to send it to me??? so i have just let her get on with her. I figured
Id get my nurse assessment done first and then deal with the dimia issue
afterwards. If i need to pay £25 then I will. I just wanted it to all
move on. Im feeling pretty good I have asked ukcc to confirm my nursing
status, my transcripts from college are being sent and I have received
one employer reference back. Im just waiting on that and then im ready
to send them off yippee!!! by the way who have you used to notarise your
documents thats my next big question.

Any help would be gratefully received.

            hi,

i used a solicitor but shop around cos some charge a fortune! and get at
least 2 certified copies of everything !!!!

once you have the anci assessment in your hands you just send that
original to dimia and thats it

..but take a copy for yourself just incase it gets lost!!!!!
