  • Deductibility of tax advisors bill Federal

I have to research if it is possible for individuals in the US to deduct tax advisory services from the personal tax base.
can anyone help me out with pointers on where to find information.
I have been searching for hours but can not find anything.
    Any help is greatly appreciated.

Could you please clarify your request. Are you refering to being able to deduct tax preparer fees from your personal tax return?

If so, then on Sch. A, at the bottom, there is a place for misc. deductions. But there is also a 2% base from your AGI that you have to substract all the deductions of that section from.

Does this help? Will look in on this thread later on to see. Hraccts, taxprep.

There you go Xarty. If that was what you needed, you have your answer from Berford and I. He was exact, and I was general in answer. Respond more if you need to.
