I claimed someone as a dependent by mistake on my 2005 return. I have received another form (1040-X) by mail. I just can't figure out how to remove a dependent. Can anyone give me a clue? I could add another easily, but I just don't understand how to remove one.

Look at Part I (Second Page).

You can explain the reason for the change in exemptions in Part II.
