  • towing bill question

My question involves collection proceedings in the State of: Washington
I received a bill from a towing company charging me for the an amount that the insurance company didnt pay them for my tow. They never tried to contact me before now and the tow was 3 years and 10 months ago. What is the statute of limitations on collecting a bill like this in clark county, washington state?

For written contracts and accounts receivable, I believe that it is six years. You quite possibly could have signed something agreeing to pay the difference. You can certainly consult a local attorney to get advice.
I am not able to respond to private messages. Thanks!
