  • Dating an adult Missouri

    Hi,
I am 17+ and turning 18 in the month of Feb. I am dating an adult who is 24.
We want to get married after I turn 18 however what would happen if my parents comes to know about our relationship? We spoke to our parents and they disagree of this relationship and threaten me to send me back to my native country.
What's are the law that could prevent them to send me to native place and what legal action they can take against him till I am not 18?
What are the laws pertaining to kiss and hug in MO?

When you are 18, you can do whatever you want.

Until you are 18, your parents can do anything they want with you, including sending you back to your home country.
The above answer, whatever it is, assumes that no legally binding and enforceable contract or CBA says otherwise. If it does, then the terms of the contract or CBA apply.

They can, yes. They can also prevent you from seeing him.

Until you are 18, it is up to them who you can and cannot see.
