  • Visitation Termination of the inactive/irresponsible Non custodial parent Michigan

What are the chances That I may get granted termination of the non custodial visitation rights? i live in kalamazoo, michigan and my daughter is 10 months old. her father has spent time with her less than 5 times since shes been born and hasn't visited her at all in the last 6 months. he claims to have paid his child support- but i have proof that he has more than $1,200.00 in arrears and only paid $26.00 to date since her birth. I know child support is no factor, but just in case he brings it up. she doesnt know him and was so uncomfortable the last time she saw him she vomited. he is extremely unstable. he drives with no license and has many traffic violations against him, he has several domestic abuse charges against him- one as recent as march 19, 2011 against a woman who is 6 months pregnant carrying his child, he has robberies against him, possession and use of marijuana, violation of probation and has listed his address at a homeless shelter., and this is just a minimal of criminal incidents and charges and evidence i have against him. he has filed a motion for parenting time overnight for wed, fridays and every other weekend and since i didnt agree we go to a referee hearing may 13. I just found out he violated probation again due to drug usage and is now in jail-so when and if he attends court he will be escorted by police and in jail attire. do i have a chance at terminating his visitation all together and if so, what guidelines should i know and evidence should i have? i also filed for a change of domicile more than 100 miles away giving substantial reasoning for the move and reasons for best interest of the child. i already have a lease at the new domicile too- what is the likelihood that i will be granted the acceptance to relocate?
