  • Still married, no child support Kentucky

My wife and I have been not living together since Jan 2008. We have no legal agreement, only a divorce Petition that is pending in the courts now. We have 2 children together who live with me, and have lived with me since the split.

I paid a divorce lawyer to draft a fair, balanced divorce agreement. My wife flat refuses to sign any agreement that requires her to pay me anything for CS. The local CS office tells me I have to be divorced in order to have an order for her to pay CS.

We both are currently living with other ppl, and she just had her BF's child. She's been picking the boys up to keep then on her days off for the last 5 or 6 months, which i have no problem with.

What do I do? I cant afford more legal fees. Iv had to get food stamps, utility aid, I've moved from our house into a smaller lace I could afford without her help. I just don't know what to do next. Isn't the CS office there to keep ppl like my wife from playing these games?

You need to file with the court for a temp CS order, that will be part of your divorce. Then, when the divorce is finalized, the CS order will be finalized also.
