This process may vary from school system to school system. Some school systems may allow parents to choose any school they wish (within the district or from a specified list), and others may give parents a "short list" of schools from which to choose. Parents should visit the DOE Web site at www.gadoe.org and review the individual report cards for each school before making a choice.
