What if there aren't any choices in my school system in Georgia?
Re: What if there aren't any choices in my school system in Georgia?
If you only have one school in your school system or if all of the schools in your school system are on the Needs Improvement list, you may have a couple of options. Your school system should make a "good faith effort" to enter into agreements with surrounding school districts. Also, schools that have been on the Needs Improvement list for more than one year will have to also offer supplemental services. Parents may decide to leave their child in the low-performing school, and request supplemental services (tutoring) for their child.
Please contact me again if you have any questions.
Yours truly,
Todd
