  • Refuses to take a paternity test in Colorado

My ex refuses to take a paternity test. What can I do. I thought that if I named him the father and he refuses to take the test, by default he is the father. Is that true?

File with the court to establish paternity/CS etc. The court will ORDER a DNA test. If he does not take test, he will be declared the legal father by default, BY THE COURT.

You cannot order him to take the test nor can you declare a default, only the court can do those 2 things.
