Hehe...About where I figured....The same exact place
as Jean Chretien. (Not that I ever compared myself to
Jean, just I knew I was basically in the middle.
Amusing, yes. I like the fact that they plot on two axes, rather than
just left-right.
I end up in that lower left box too, at (-2.5,-4.67). It is a bit
hard to compare to the celebrities, since they didn't put numerical
scales in that one!

Me too -- -4.75, -4.05 -- being in company with Ghandi, Mandela, & the
Dalai Lama ain't bad at all.
(I've seen a similar scale before, but not with as many questions.)

"It's a sad reflection on our society that something as basic as drinking water is now a bottled, branded consumer product." This isn't political, it's mostly value judgements. This one is better: http://www.self-gov.org/quiz.html
I tried it. Scored about the same (90% social, 20& economic)... but know
what? That's also value judgements, just put in more blatantly political
terms. What do you think politics are?

The self-gov quiz pertains to laws and policies that are in effect or could be
passed. Questions about the branding of drinking water don't.

That's one way of looking at it. One is legislatable values, the other
includes more general ones. In the end two ways of looking at the same
thing.
Cool questionnaire. A little more middle-of-the-road than other people
in this thread: (-2.25, -3.49) but lower-left quadrant like everybody
else. Could there be a <gasp> liberal bias in ASM? Poor Bill.

Heh...
I found it interesting that once I had my results nearly everyone else who
posted theirs were about what I'd expect, compared to mine - except yours,
Randy. My result did surprise me because I'm fairly conservative on many
issues and I certainly couldn't be described as a pacifist!
Now I'd like to see Igor's and Jingle Bell's numbers. lol

But I think it was a USan site. After all, a conservative Aussie
(even one born in New Zealand) is bound to be less conservative that
typical americans.
But I found something odd too. I consider myself to be socially
"left" since I generally think that people should do what they want as
long as they don't hurt others, but economically centrist.
But my economic score was still something like -2.
