  • Missouri: Custodial Parent?

If someone is paying child support, does that mean that the parent receiving the money is the custodial parent? Even if no custody has been established in court yet?

Another question... Once the custody issue is brought to court, will the child be in the courthouse? How does it work? Does the custodial parent have someone watch the child back at their home? What if there is fear of this person running away with the child?
