    Agree with GotSmart. They don't have to pay you for days not worked notice given
    or not. It seems you also owe them for taking more vacation than you had so far
    accrued.

    What kind of employment experts are giving you advice? If you do not work, you do not get paid. Two weeks notice is for the employer to replace you. They have the option of letting you go immediately.

    As for the second issue, if you took more vacation time than you earned, you do owe them.
