    It is not illegal for others to be told of your impending termination before you are and in fact, it is often necessary. HR needs to know so they can process the paperwork, payroll so they can cut your final check, etc.

    When and how did it come to pass that your supervisor told you that you would not be terminated? Most supervisors don't go around telling people they don't intend to fire them at random.

    I was termed for insubordination, refusal to communicate with my supervisor (who didn't let me talk while we were in conversation ever, I also did speak with HR concerning our relationship on two different occasions the last being 2 weeks ago). I was with them for almost 2 years, April would have been a full 2. Financial recourse would be appreciated but mainly I would like to maybe help prevent them from doing wrong to someone else

    Why were you terminated? Was this part of a reduction in force? A termination for cause? What kind of recourse are you looking for?

    I heard rumors from employees at another locations affiliated with mine of my impending termination. I was told by my supervisor that I wasn't going to be terminated and now I just have been. Do I have any recourse concerning this?
