  • TERMINATED AFTER COMPLAINT Oregon

I was fired from my job at medical clinic after having a discussion with my supervisor about OSHA regulation not being met. To regards to saftey procedures, and she said she was to busy to deal with them. I let her know what the reg. need to be put in place. The next week I was fired with no reason except "that it would not work out?" I had never been talked to about any proformance issues. I feel I was let go to shut me up about setting proper procedures in place.

Based solely on the information you've provided, it's really hard to say whether your termination was due to your complaint or not. But if you believe it was, you are always free to contact OSHA and file a complaint.
The above answer, whatever it is, assumes that no legally binding and enforceable contract or CBA says otherwise. If it does, then the terms of the contract or CBA apply.
