  • comp in pa-going on vacation?

    Hi-went on comp about a month ago,I have to have NO RESTRICTIONS to return to work,which according to the Dr. may be around 2 months.Question:I have plane tickets (Ipaid for months ago) to go on vacation.Can I get in trouble by going?Can comp say,well if youre not doing therapy then we will not pay you for that week,or at all.Any experienced opinions welcome,thanks.

    It depends. You are correct that you wouldn't get benefits while away. You may also risk having benefits cut off. If yo uare well enough to travel and vacation, you should be well enough to work is the general thought. Obviously there are exceptions. But in general it does require some additional explanation on your part.
