  • illinois workman's comp reinjury

I was injured on the job last year & received medical care for the problem. A few weeks ago, I have experienced increasing pain in the exact area where my injury occurred. I have since switched jobs. Is my previous employer still obligated to pay for any and all medical expenses to re-diagnose the problem & render treatment? It has been 8 months since the injury & a bit over 5 months since I switched jobs.

If it is related to the first injury you are entitled to medical treatment. Where you are currently employed isn't the issue.
I post with the full knowledge and support of my employer, though the opinions rendered are my own and not necessarily representative of their position. In other words, I'm a free agent.
