I was injured at work and sent to the E-Room. I gave the paperwork to my boss and he said it would be taken care of and I wouldn't have to pay anything. Now there is a year's worth of CHARGEOFF's on my credit report because nobody ever paid the bills and they sent them to collections. What can I do to get this taken off of my credit and liability for payment put on my employer. Thanks.

You should have gotten bills before they showed up on your credit report. Have you asked your employer about them? Or their WC carrier?

The bills should have gone to your carrier, or employer, not you. Check with the hospital to see if they even billed the right place. Many itmes they just bill the insurance they have on file for you, not the proper carrier.

I post with the full knowledge and support of my employer, though the opinions rendered are my own and not necessarily representative of their position. In other words, I'm a free agent.
