  • 401k distribution

I took my 401k money so I could pay off some large bills that I owed. Do I claim this as income for the week I am claiming unemployment benefits? I live in Michigan and the booklet says nothing about this situation. When I claim call in my claim, they do ask if I began receiving a pension.

This really belongs in the wage and hour or the labor law sections. Workers comp refers to injuries/illnesses that are work-related and the compensation thereof.

That being said, if I were you I'd ask this question of the UI commission in my state. The requirements are state-specific.
The above answer, whatever it is, assumes that no legally binding and enforceable contract or CBA says otherwise. If it does, then the terms of the contract or CBA apply.
