Hi. My father is a truck driver. He worked for a small private truck company that hired 18 truck drivers. All workers were truck owners, including my father. According to agreement employees were not paid for the first two week after hiring. My father continued to work in the company for 8 month, and then, when he quit the job the employer refused to pay him for these first two weeks. We talk to attorney, but he wanted 80% from sum owed. Is it posible to get money back without the attorney's help? If yes, how can I do it.
the company is located in illinois, and my father lives in illinois too. what are the agencies my father can file the claim?

    Pay

Where are you located? Many states have an agency with your father can file a wage claim.
