  • Cut hours

I live in Texas and my boss is cutting my hours and my husbands. Can we file unemployment for our hours being cut?
Is there a certain number of hours that he would have to keep us at so that we can't file?
Or am I just reaching here?

    Thanks

The answer to some of your questions is located at the following website: http://www.twc.state.tx.us/ui/bnfts/...1.html#qualify

It doesn't specify the amount of the reduction in hours needed in order to qualify for benefits. You may wish to call the Texas Workforce Commission and ask them.
