Just wondering if there is anyone out there who can help...here's the thing...on the job injury, declined by WC, off work for 2 plus weeks. Just a bad muscle strain in upper back. My imployer will not let me work until I receive a work release from a doctor...legal or not?

    Thanks from NC

My imployer will not let me work until I receive a work release from a doctor...legal or not? Completely legal - and extremely common.

Very common and adviseable whether WC is covering it or not.
I post with the full knowledge and support of my employer, though the opinions rendered are my own and not necessarily representative of their position. In other words, I'm a free agent.
