  • aircraft bleed air injury? North Carolina

I am representing a flight attendant in NC who suffered injuries due to inhaling the toxic fumes from aircraft engine bleed air. This is apparently a byproduct of the burning of certain lubricants used in the engines.

Does anyone know of any other such cases? The airline is denying that such an injury can occur, so I am interested in finding other cases and expert witnesses. Thanks.

That's not really the purpose of this board; however, if anyone does have any such information (which I doubt) please notify the poster by PM.
The above answer, whatever it is, assumes that no legally binding and enforceable contract or CBA says otherwise. If it does, then the terms of the contract or CBA apply.
