  • WC & Full Benefits Illinois

I thought I understood that if you're out on WC that you are still to recieve full benefits?? I know that includes your medical insurance and 401k, but does it include accrual of PTO/Vacation hours? Or do you only get PTO/vacation for actual time worked?

If the leave also qualifies as FMLA leave, the requirement is that benefits continue to accrue if they would accrue for other employees who are on non-FMLA leave. If they wouldn't get them, you wouldn't get them either. It's not the WC that is the deciding factor, it's whether it's FMLA or not.
