Very Basic WC Question Florida

    Sorry dpmac, I am now learning that property insurance is not involved when a company fails to have WC. I wish the law would make it to where companies have to post thier WC information like they do the labor law posters. That way any potential employee will see if they have done this, and paid for WC coverage.

      Um, they already do.
      I post with the full knowledge and support of my employer, though the opinions rendered are my own and not necessarily representative of their position. In other words, I'm a free agent.

        Ha ha ha ha ha! Thanks ElleMD, for my own information, where are they supposed to post this (the WC information), I don't remember seeing anything in my bosses office hanging up? Could it be in only one place in the hospital, since it is very big? Where would a employee or a prospective employee expect to find the posting?

          I have no way of knowing where it might be posted at your job. Sorry. You'll have to ask someone who works there or has at least been there. The law only states it must be posted somewhere employees have access to it. Square footage does not change the requirement.
