  • Prehearing ? Missouri

Could someone tell me how long it takes for a decision to come back on a prehearing? I had a prehearing on 12/15/06. Could you also tell me if it is normal for the insurance companies attorney to send his assistant to the hearing? He did not come.
    Thank you

I assume you mean this was a hearing before the WC board. If this was some other type of legal proceeding, I'm not sure.

As long as the person has authorization to represent a party in the course of the hearing, then it is permitted. More than likely if that person did not, the hearing would not have gone forward.
I post with the full knowledge and support of my employer, though the opinions rendered are my own and not necessarily representative of their position. In other words, I'm a free agent.
