  • Houston structured settlement Texas

I was searching for information on how structured settlements in respect of workers compensation lump sum. I found this review here.
    http://1sellstructuredsettlement.com...nt-structured/

I am made to believe that compensation in form of structured settlements differ from state to state. but the law here, above, states in part that the structured settlement cannot be sold to an affiliate of the insurance company that handled the initial payment.

I know the reason is due to conflict of interest but how would you know since both companies are registered independently?

You could ask the company if they are affiliated and if you call the state insurance regulation office, they can probably tell you as well.
