  • California - Clocking In and Out for Lunch

California - Possibly because I don't trust our from-TX new HR boss - for quite a while, we have automatically docked employees 1/2 hour for lunches - he is now saying that the employees must "physically" clock in and out..yes? no? a TX myth?

Whatever the employer requires. There is no law that says you MUST physically clock in/out. but neither is there a law that prohibits the employer from requiring that you do.
