  • salaried employee hours per week limit?

i was wondering, in ND, if there was a limit to how many hours they can make a salaried employee work-i am salaried at $36000 per year, and they make me work 80+ hours. is this legal?

Yes, it is legal. There is no limit in any state to the number of hours an exempt employee can be required to work.

It is not even particularly uncommon for an exempt employee to work 80 hours per week.
The above answer, whatever it is, assumes that no legally binding and enforceable contract or CBA says otherwise. If it does, then the terms of the contract or CBA apply.
