    I just left my job and should of gotten my paycheck on friday but I just received it but my employer did not pay me 80 hours vacation time and two days sick leave am I entitiled even if I left?california

    You should have received your final check, including all earned but unused vacation, at the end of your last shift on your last day of work if you had given notice of 72 hours or more. If you quit without giving at least 72 hours notice, you should have received your check no more than 72 hours after your last day of work. Employers in California are required to treat vacation as wages. Once vacation is earned, it can't be taken away, even if an employee leaves the company, and no matter what the reason for the termination. Sick pay, on the other hand, does not need to be paid out on termination.
