  • not getting scheduled week after week

i work a retail job in massachusetts part-time and for the past couple of months i have not been scheduled any shifts whatsoever. every so often i will be given a measly 4-hour shift, but a few times those have been cut due to "over-scheduling." i know there's tons of laws for over-working an employee, but what is there for employees who keep begging for hours (when they are technically on the pay roll) and consistently not receiving any??

    thanks,
    matt

    Lack of Scheduled Hours

There are no laws protecting an employee from a lack of scheduled hours.
