  • Evaluation & Raise.

    California:
I have a co worker who reveived her evaluation, and she was granted a raise after talking with her supervisors boss. we just got out paychecks yesterday and her raise does not show on it. She asked our supervisor and she told her it would take effect in March 2005, he anniversary date is the day of her evaluation. can they hold your raise 2 months?

    Delayed Raise

Yes, they can as raises are not required by law.

The employer can set the date of the pay raise and at that time, it is indeed payable to the employee.
