  • Subordiante or Management

Subordinate or Management I was disciplined for not informimg another manager I would be taking a two days off to visit a terminally ill relative. My management override was taken away therfore leaving me on a commission bases only. Am I still expected to perform the duties as a manager with all the responsibilities that come with it. Is this legal? degdiego/Colorado

    Bereavement Leave

It is legal for an employer to set the wages of an employee, including a demotion in wages, while, at the same time, dictate the responsibilities of the employee, including the continuation of management responsibilites UNLESS the change is as a result of being singled out because of discrimination or in retaliation for an employee protecting their legal rights.
