    we are a company of about 150 employees.
    only about 30 full time (benefited) employees

    our old policy we accumulated 40 hours a year in sick, with a cap at 240 hours (only full time employees)

    since the new CA sick leave law is into affect our employer is changing everyone to the new CA sick leave law policy

    with the 24 hours use cap, and the 6 days accrual cap. per year.

    my question is this, what of we have over 6 days (48 hours accrued) is it legal for them to take that away? or to not let us use it if needed?
