    I work in the hospitality industry. My employer constantly schedules me to work 11 days straight in a 2 week period. My employer has told me that I am not entitled to overtime because the 11 days occur over a two week period. Are they correct?

    OT is calculated on a workweek basis. Ca. has some "special" OT rules such as daily OT after 8 hrs. a day for example. Here is a link with frequently asked questions about OT in Ca.
