I got a quik question for you wonderful people. I worked for a company about 3 years ago. I was with them for 5 years and during my labor there, they had the "don't use it, use it" vacation policy. I can't find the handbook. I lost a lot of vacation time, is there any way they would compensate me for my wages even though it was 3 years ago?

You can file a claim with the DLSE but as this was 3-8 years ago, you are well past the statute of limitations so I would not expect much.
I post with the full knowledge and support of my employer, though the opinions rendered are my own and not necessarily representative of their position. In other words, I'm a free agent.

Agreed. Maybe small claims court, although there likely are SOL problems there as well.
