  • Required Breaks Wyoming

My 20 year old daughter works in a fast food restaurant that said they are not required to give her a break until after she has worked 6 hours. I thought breaks were required after 4 consecutive hours. What is the law?

Laws regarding breaks are state specific, and to the best of my knowledge Wyoming has no laws requiring meal or rest breaks. In the absence of state law on the subject, the employer is free to set its own break policies.
I am not able to respond to private messages. Thanks!

I can confirm that Wy. has no law requiring meal or rest breaks.
