  • Her rights? Washington

I am a Coordinator for people over 55 and the program is through the state. If a employee has work their hours and promised a paycheck on a certain date, and it is not been received, what action can they take? it is going on the third week, and she has got nothing but excuses.

If you have not been paid you can file a claim for unpaid wages with the DOL.
I post with the full knowledge and support of my employer, though the opinions rendered are my own and not necessarily representative of their position. In other words, I'm a free agent.

Who is the employee? You or someone who works for you? New employee? What is the pay period frequency, when does the pay period end, and how many days after the end of the pay period is the check to be issued?
I don't respond to Private Messages unless the moderator specifically refers you to me for that purpose. Thank you.
