    can a ohio car dealership that pays on a flate rate system tell there employes that they will only pay you for the hours that you make and not the hours that you are on the time clock. if you work 40 hours they may only pay the employe 30 or less hours

    You must be paid for all actual hrs worked. DO NOT confuse this with "book hrs" used in dealership for a particular repair job. Only ACTUAL hrs worked is what is required by law for the employer to pay the employee.
