  • Manditory Meeting Pay California

My employer holds occasional manditory meetings. All employees are generally paid over $8/hr. But for meetings she only pays us minimum wage. Is this ok?

Didn't I answer this once before?

In any case, as long as you are notified in advance that you will be paid at a lower rate, yes, it's legal. It is not legally necessary to notify you every single time it occurs; once is plenty. i.e., "Training time will be paid at minimum wage." That is the required notification.
I don't respond to Private Messages unless the moderator specifically refers you to me for that purpose. Thank you.
