  • Paid vacation-commission sales California

I work on commission and have a quota which I have to fullfill every week. During vacation time, we get payed an hourly average of our of our yearly sales.

When I took my vacation recently, they forced me to make-up the quota that I missed during my vacation, plus the quota for the current week.

Is that legal/typical for commission based employees?

Is it legal, yes. Is it typical or fair? If your commission is measured weekly, I would opine, no. But my opinion and $2 will get you a cup of coffee.
I don't respond to Private Messages unless the moderator specifically refers you to me for that purpose. Thank you.
