  • Not being paid in Pennsylvania

My daughter works for an agency that hires people to take care of other people. She has several disabled clients. She has worked for them for 2 and a half mo.The last pay she received was for Memorial day. They owe her about 7 weeks pay. They said she would receive a pay check today and she didn't.What are her options? Is there some way she can force them to give her what is owed to her?She had an apartment lined up and was waiting on this money to pay for it.Right now her and her 3 children are staying with me so I was looking forward to her getting her own place.

You indicated that she works for an agency. If she is an employee (she filled out a W-2 form, tax forms, etc.), then she should report the employer to the PA Department of Labor and Industry. If she is an independent contractor, then her recourse is to sue.
I am not able to respond to private messages. Thanks!
