  • employer's check bounces Wyoming

Is there any recourse for an employee whose check doesn't clear the bank?
Also any recourse if an employer doesn't pay on a friday before a pay day that lands on a weekend or holiday?

If the check bounces, you can file a complaint with your state DOL, though (speaking as someone whose paycheck bounced less than a month ago) I would STRONGLY recommend discussing it with your employer first.

I do not believe Wyoming is one of the very few states that requires an employer to pay in advance when payday falls on a weekend or holiday. Patty?
The above answer, whatever it is, assumes that no legally binding and enforceable contract or CBA says otherwise. If it does, then the terms of the contract or CBA apply.
