Regardless of whether the law in your state permits a recording without the knowledge of all parties, the employer does not have to allow it and can fire you for doing so without their express permission.

    Recording Meetings Tennessee

Is it illegal for me to record my meetings with my boss? I am having a terrible time here with her lying about what she says and does and it's always her word against mine. Since she's the manager, HR always takes her word regardless. I want to record all meetings that I have with her from now on. The company has no official policy on record prohibiting the recording of meetings. Can I record them without telling them?
