    I'm hourly. I worked 53 hours in 1 week. I worked 13 hours on a holiday. I got paid 12 hours holiday pay (straight time), 40 hours regular time, and 13 hours holiday worked (straight time). So I got paid 53 hours straight time plus 12 hours holiday pay. Shouldn't 13 hours of time worked be at 1.5 times base wage?

    Its company policy that holiday pay is 8 hours straight time when you don't work and 12 hours straight time if you do work. We work on 12 hours shifts.

    You were paid your hourly rate times 65 hours. The law requires only that you be paid your rate of pay times 59.5 hours (40 hours straight plus 13 OT straight time portion plus 6.5 for the half time portion of the OT).

    The company is not violating any law.
