I have one more issue i need help with...all the salespeople at my dealership signed contracts that state our commission scale and bonus structure....we are paid a percentage of the front end gross profit of the vehicle that we are selling...nowhere on the contract does it say that our commissions will be capped at any certain amount, yet the general manager has chosen to cap a few people's commission at $2500 when their percentage would have paid them 3 to 5 thousand dollars...other times, they have allowed salespeople to make over $2500 on a vehicle....they keep verbally changing their rules about what will be capped and what won't, but it is always the favorite employees who do not get capped and the one's who are not well liked do...isn't it illegal to cap anyone's commission unless the rules are stated in some form of handbook or contract that an employee has been given an opportunity to read and sign?...please help...
